About the Academy

Built by a multidisciplinary team you can call by name.

The MObyJC Injector Academy is the training arm of MObyJC , New Zealand's nurse practitioner-led cosmetic oversight service. It's built by clinicians and aesthetic practitioners who don't just teach this work , they govern it, oversee it, and live it every day across Aotearoa.

Why we built this

A structured pathway, built for Aotearoa.

The aesthetics industry in New Zealand is growing fast, and so is the appetite among nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, midwives, dentists, and doctors to step into it. What hasn't always existed is a structured, locally-built training pathway that meets the real frameworks NZ practitioners actually work within: the Medicines Act, NZNC scope, and the ASA Therapeutic Code.

The MObyJC Injector Academy was built to fill that gap. A pathway designed in Aotearoa, by clinicians who practise here, for clinicians training here. Endorsed by the College of Nurses Aotearoa and recognised within the CANNZ network , credentialing that follows the work, not the other way around.

You're not just learning how to inject. You're building a practice you can stand behind.
The team

Two leaders. One ecosystem. A shared standard.

The Academy is delivered by the same team that powers MObyJC's wider clinical oversight, clinicians and practitioners working together, each bringing different expertise to the same shared standard.

Clinical Director

John Boy Jerry

Nurse Practitioner (NP) · CANNZ Affiliated · 19+ Years Nursing Experience

John Boy Jerry is a Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years of clinical experience spanning urgent care, primary care, and aesthetic medicine. As a board member of a leading aesthetic network, he plays an active role in shaping the standards that govern safe practice across New Zealand.

As Clinical Director of the MObyJC Injector Academy, John brings NP-level clinical partnership to every standing order he signs and every module he delivers , meaning the pathway you train on isn't just compliant, it's built on genuine medical expertise. What sets John apart isn't just his qualifications. It's that he has spent his career within nursing, and understands what it takes to build an independent practice from the ground up.

"My goal is to give aesthetic nurses the clinical foundation they need to practise with complete confidence , not to oversee them from a distance, but to be a real partner in their success."

Injector Experience Manager

Bradley Csapo

Nurse · Aesthetic Practitioner · CANNZ Board Member

Bradley Csapo is a nurse, aesthetic practitioner, and CANNZ board member , one of the most connected people in New Zealand's aesthetic nursing landscape. His dual background in clinical practice and business development means he brings something rare to the Academy: an understanding of what running a successful aesthetic clinic actually looks like, not just what it looks like on paper.

As Injector Experience Manager, Brad is dedicated to ensuring every touchpoint of your Academy experience delivers genuine value , from your first enquiry through to ongoing mentorship and clinic growth support after you graduate. He's the kind of person who lights up when an injector in the community has a win, because he knows how hard the journey is.

"The aesthetics industry in New Zealand is small enough that how we treat each other matters. I want every injector in our community to feel like they have someone genuinely in their corner , not just a provider ticking a compliance box."
Where the Academy sits

The Academy is one part of something larger.

Three arms. One philosophy. The MObyJC ecosystem is a clinical infrastructure built specifically to support independent aesthetic injectors across New Zealand.

I.

MObyJC Oversight

Nurse practitioner-led medical oversight, standing orders, and clinical governance for independent aesthetic injectors nationwide. The clinical framework that lets registered nurses, pharmacists, and paramedics practise aesthetics independently while staying inside the Medicines Act.

II.

MObyJC Injector Academy

That's us. The training pathway that brings new and returning injectors into the same standard MObyJC oversight already operates to. Endorsed by the College of Nurses Aotearoa.

III.

JC Injectables

A working aesthetic clinic in South Auckland, the place where we practise what we teach. The home of many of our practical days, and where the standards we share with the wider MObyJC community are set.

The three arms aren't a packaged upsell. You can train with the Academy and never take MObyJC oversight. You can take oversight and never train with the Academy. But for practitioners who want all of it under one roof, it's there , with an exclusive discounted oversight rate available to Academy graduates who choose to continue with us.

What we stand for

Six commitments.

These aren't sales differentiators. They're commitments, the things we hold ourselves to, every cohort, every student, every time.

01

NP-led, collaboratively delivered.

Our clinical foundation is NP-led, and the pathway is delivered by clinicians and aesthetic practitioners working together , different expertise, one shared standard.

02

Built for Aotearoa.

Designed around the Medicines Act, NZNC scope, and the ASA Therapeutic Code. Not a UK or US template adapted for the southern hemisphere.

03

Compliance and complications as standard.

We don't treat complications as a paid add-on or compliance as a footnote. They sit at the heart of how we teach.

04

Honest pathways.

Theory and practical in one investment. No surprise upsells. No "free training" with strings attached. If we don't think you should enrol yet, we'll tell you.

05

Materials that last beyond the course.

Your learning resources are yours to keep for your entire career, not just while you're a student.

06

Community after graduation.

The Injector Hub continues the relationship long after the course ends. Workshops, peer support, ongoing CPD, and direct access to the team that trained you.

Where we work

A real clinic. A real practice.

Many of our practical days take place at JC Injectables, our partner aesthetic clinic in South Auckland. The cases you see during practical training reflect real clinic practice, and the environment you train in mirrors the kind of clinic many of our graduates go on to build for themselves. You learn what good looks like by being in it.
